Procreate Workshops in Schools
One of my most popular workshops, the Digital Portrait Illustration Workshop, is a creative, engaging and rewarding experience that works brilliantly across all key stages.
Using iPads and the programme Procreate, students explore a range of digital illustration techniques, combining technical skills with creative experimentation. Through the process of creating their own portrait, they learn about portraiture, digital colouring, shading and texture building across multiple layers, developing their confidence and understanding of digital art.
Working from their own photograph as a reference, students transform their image into a unique and expressive digital portrait. This personal connection makes the workshop immediately engaging, encouraging students to explore their own identity, artistic style and creative ideas.
The workshop offers an accessible introduction to digital illustration, while providing plenty of opportunities for students to develop new skills, experiment with different techniques and produce something they can feel genuinely proud of.
A hands-on, enjoyable and inspiring workshop that combines creativity, technology and self-expression, with fantastic results. 🎨
