BirbFest 2025

I recently took part in and completed a daily drawing challenge during the month of January. It was suggested to me by my wife and it captured my imagination. It’s called BIRBFEST 2025. BIRBFEST is a global drawing challenge where artists are given a bird-themed prompt each day throughout January. It encourages participants to explore new techniques, expand their creativity, and showcase a different bird each day. I love wildlife, especially birds, so I thought I might give it a go.

The challenge pushed me to explore new techniques and adapt my usual style. Drawing a new bird every day meant fitting it into my already packed schedule, which wasn’t always easy. But despite the time restraints, it was an incredibly rewarding experience, and I learned a lot along the way.
